Kathleen Oot-Quinn

Kathleen Oot-Quinn's career spans 30 years handling Workers' Compensation Claims for claimants and carriers. In addition to her Health and Life License, Ms. Oot-Quinn is licensed under the New York State Workers' Compensation Law to represent carriers and self insureds before the New York State Workers' Compensation Board. Prior to holding this license, she held a license to represent claimants and worked for Oot & Associates Law Firm as a Claimant's Representative.

In addition to Ms. Oot-Quinn's experience in workers' compensation claims/law, Ms. Oot-Quinn's experiences include handling and structuring general liability and labor law claims. As a claim representative and claim supervisor, she was responsible for preparing, reserving, investigating and settling (with structured settlements) labor law and general liability claims and suits.

Ms. Oot-Quinn's career as a structured settlement consultant concentrates in the area of Workers' Compensation structured settlements and she has experience and knowledge in the Medicare set asides process (and the use of annuities to fund the same).

A graduate of Syracuse University, Ms. Oot-Quinn was a Peer Advisor and a Physical Education Instructor for the University. She also serves her community as Director of b.i.k.e.-Syracuse, a non-profit, 501 (c) (3), dedicated to working with disadvantaged inner-city youth. In 2008, Ms. Oot-Quinn was honored with the 2008 Community Leadership Award for Physical Fitness and Sports from the President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports. Ms. Oot-Quinn is also a semi-Professional adventure racer and her team, ranked 9th overall in Canada, qualified for the World Championship Adventure Race in Newfoundland, Canada in 2004. Ms. Oot-Quinn resides in Marcellus, New York.  Print Bio
