Chris Walters is a Settlement Consultant in Charleston, WV. With five years experience in the Structured Settlement field, he has extensive experience in the areas of Personal Injury litigation settlements, Workers Compensation and MSAs, Trusts (including Special Needs, Revisionary, and Spendthrift), 468B QSFs, Attorney’s Fee Structures, structuring Non-Qualified monies, Bad faith treatment and Structures, and International Structures (with Claimants based both domestically and abroad).
Chris has lived and worked in two foreign countries. First, Chris was a student in France where he attained a fluency in the language. Second, Chris studied at Collegium Civitas in Warsaw, Poland. His class area of focus was competitive economics, and Polish culture. During his studies Chris held a full time job at The British-Polish Chamber of Commerce, where he was responsible for marketing and communications between the Economic Development Cabinet of the Polish Government, and Corporations looking to relocate to Poland.
He attended Fork Union Military Academy, and graduated from The Linsly School. For College Chris then attended West Virginia University and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in International Business. While at West Virginia University he created a weekly newspaper that was distributed to the campus. With only a $750.00 grant, he built and grew his paper to become Morgantown’s only full color weekly news, economic and political journal. His newspaper had a staff of 30 individuals, a production of 10,000 copies and a distribution of 275 locations when he sold the publication in 2010.
He holds his Life and Health Insurance license and is also a member of the Independent Insurance Agents of West Virginia. Print Bio
