Sean Coleman, CEO

Chief Executive Officer of Structured Financial Associates, Inc., Sean Coleman has also served as and Chief Operating Officer of its parent company, Integrated Financial Settlements, Inc. (IFS). Since the company’s inception, he has helped it grow into the largest provider of structured settlement services in the United States. Prior to SFA, his roles included partner and head of the corporate, securities and general business practice group law firm Hartman, Simons, Spielman & Wood LLP, and chief administrative officer, general counsel and board member of Investar Holdings, Inc., a specialty insurance and financial services organization.

Coleman received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University and his law degree from University of Virginia School of Law. He is a member of the Georgia and Atlanta Bar Associations as well as active in the National Structured Settlements Trade Association.

Rich Regna, President

Rich Regna, CSSC, acts as a catalyst for cultivating innovation and bringing community to Structured Financial Associates. Formerly an SFA consultant with a long-standing reputation as a leader and a high-volume producer, he brings 16 years of experience in the structured settlement business.

He has focused on helping plaintiffs design flexible, comprehensive settlement plans to establish a solid post-settlement financial foundation. He also has extensive experience helping clients protect eligibility for governmental benefits and resolving cases that involve the Medicare Secondary Payer Statute.

John Machir, Chief Marketing Officer

As part of the initiative to bring new ideas and a stronger community to Structured Financial Associates, John Machir joined in 2016. He began his insurance career in 1974 and became Ringler Associates' Senior Vice President and National Marketing Director in 1988. During his tenure with Ringler, he became an industry leader in expanding the use of structured settlements throughout the claims and plaintiff communities.

Instrumental in securing the tax-free status of structured settlements for injured parties and their families, he was a founding member of the National Structured Settlement Trade Association, and has served two terms as the Association’s president.

Rachel Grant-Harrop, Director of PR

Rachel Grant, CSSC, owner of Grant Settlements, LLC, brings 25 years of experience in the structured settlement business, having participated in the resolution of thousands of claims and litigation cases. She specializes in resolution of high-exposure medical malpractice claims, personal injury, products liability, transportation, general liability, and workers’ compensation claims in multiple jurisdictions. She also has extensive experience in workers’ compensation claims, including those that require Medicare Set-Aside Trusts.

A licensed life and health insurance agent, participating in mediations and settlement conferences throughout the country, she also serves on SFA’s Marketing

Committee and as its Director of Communication. She is an active member of many industry organizations, such as Michigan Society of Healthcare Risk Management, where she serves as its Treasurer, the American Society of Healthcare Risk Management, the Council on Litigation Management and The National Structured Settlements Trade Association.

She has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and her Certified Structured Settlement Consultant (CSSC) from the Mendoza School of Business at the University of Notre Dame.

Brad J. Dropp CFO/Corporate Controller

Bradley (Brad) J. Dropp oversees Structured Financial Associates’ accounts receivables and payables, commissions payment and tracking, as well as all financial reporting and analysis.

Prior to joining SFA, he served as financial controller at Ege Seramik America, Inc., an international manufacturer, where he managed all financial reporting, budgeting, margin analysis, employee benefits and human resources. He also served as Senior Accountant for both The North Highland Company and Nationwide Warehouse and Storage.

A native of Michigan, he holds a Bachelor of Business Administration/Finance from Western Michigan University.

Joe McManus, Assistant Controller

Prior to joining Structured Financial Associates, Joe McManus spent 18 years with The Hanover Insurance Group, where he started as an agency accounting rep at its home office, and oversaw agency collections for seventy-five independent Florida-based agents  out of the Jacksonville office.

 In 1995, he became Agency Accounting Manager in the Atlanta office where he led a team responsible for premium collections and commission disbursement for seven hundred agents in the southeast and mid-west regions. In 2000, Joe took on the position of Regional Premium Audit Manager, responsible for performing payroll and sales audits on workers’ comp and general liability policies in the southern region.

A native of Massachusetts, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Management from Nichols College.

Natalie Yasumine, QC Coordinator

With 25 years of experience in the structured settlements industry, Natalie Yasumine is committed to streamlining processes and systems and implementing new procedures. She’s primarily responsible for for ensuring quality data case management and system training and acting as a liaison for our life company partners.

Leah Boyea, Consultant and marketing Liaison

Leah Boyea has more than 10 years of experience at Structured Financial Associates. Prior to joining the corporate team, she was a settlement coordinator and case manager. A critical resource for consultants and coordinators, she also assists with maintaining national account client relations and reporting requirements.

In addition, she assists the director of marketing and communications by creating training programs for the field and managing meetings and other special projects. With experience in managing personal injury and long-term planning, she provides valuable insight into the perspective of the client.

Reese Vinch, Consultant Services Manager

Reese began her insurance career adjusting claims for a military moving company in 1994. She moved on to become a work comp adjuster and made the jump to structured settlements in 2001. Reese came to Structured Financial Associates as a Case Administrator in 2005 and moved to the Home Office in 2007, where she became an Executive and Marketing Assistant.

Reese is now SFA's Consultant Services Manager-managing the department responsible for the services offered to SFA's consultants-Case Administration, Payroll, Benefits, Licensing, etc. Reese also helps the Corporate Team with meeting planning and is SFA's President, Rich Regna's assistant.

Elizabeth Bass, Settlement Coordinator

With nearly 30 years in the industry, Elizabeth Bass began her career as a financial planner, and then moved to Aetna Life's in-house structured settlement company as resident broker. She continued in the structured settlements field  as an in-house broker with CNA Insurance Company. Since 2001, she has worked for several structured settlement brokerage firms, coordinating with claim professionals, attorneys, and claimants in mediations, one-on-one planning conferences, and training sessions. Her areas of expertise include  Worker's Compensation, General Liability, Medical Malpractice and Medicare Set Aside Accounts.

Elizabeth earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Illinois State University, and the CSSC designation from Notre Dame University in 1998. She’s also a certified paralegal and she holds a life/health license in Kentucky.

Gina Gasiorowski, Settlement Coordinator

With 12 years of experience in the structured settlements industry, Gina Gasiorowski is an integral part of the case administration unit. Her commitment to streamlining the documentation process along with implementing best practices has made an impactful contribution to the administrative team's functions. Her responsibilities as a settlement coordinator include ongoing collaboration with SFA's consultants and clients to generate settlement proposals draft settlement documentation, prepare closing documentation and issue annuity policies.
